In the middle of 2020 we decided to get a new Campervan, it was a hard decision. Whilst we loved owning a classic VW T3 full of quirky character and the splendors within, we had come to a crossroad. We wanted to travel further and for longer, and I wanted to spend less time worrying about maintenance and more time ambling. The reality is a 33-year vehicle needs a fair amount of attention to reduce any potential issues you might have on a long journey. The Gallivant Hotel, Camber Sands
Back in Jan 2019, we spent a luxurious few days at The Gallivant Hotel, Camber Sands on the South Coast as a treat before I started a new job. Situated on the other side of the dunes of the magnificent Camber Sands the hotel offered great food & service. We eventually forgave them for forgetting to pack us the package included a bottle of local English wine upon our departure! The room we stayed in was quirky, comfortable, interesting and warm. Inspirational prints and Coffee at Wast Water, Lake District.
We recently turned some of our old photos into “inspirational quotes” type prints for our home office. Louise found an amusing quote around coffee that made us both smile; Coffee /ˈkɒ.fi/ noun A rich, warm alternative to hating everybody, every morning, forever. A quick search through our photos to find a suitable photo from 2017, some editing in Canva and we had a fun print we framed for the office wall.
